What a busy and stressful last few days. After the rigorous typing I feel completely drained. Woke up a little later than planned. 9am.. and still had to help Julian finish his off. At 1pm I was off the hook and could start my day. But bad thing is, I have another coursework due for Monday, so have to get started on that. But I sooooo dont want!
By 5pm I was ready for a little fun time, and well deserved..
So Julian and I went to visit Prices Street where the Christmas Fayre and Lights are. Theres also a German market I wanted to show him..
We arrived and Julian instantly felt like he was home. Little wooden huts selling German food, mulled wine, sweets and gifts. He headed straight for the mulled wine and got two little Frankfurt Christmas cups full. We walked along the street with our wine having a look at the ice rink and Fayre rides. The taste was strange for me, like drinking 89% alcohol, so Julian gladly finished off mine. IMMEDIATELY he was slurring his words and stumbling about.. so funny.. a giant tipsy on 1+1/2 cups of mulled wine. Although, in fairness.. he had a shot of amaretto in his ;)
As you can imagine, he wanted to go straight back to the hut for more.. loving it you might say! So, two more and to one of the food huts. I got some kartoffeln and then a hot dog.. (I hadn't had any dinner). The potatoes were so yummy. Luckily its open til after christmas so il definitely be giving it a few visits til then..
I even got to practise some German..
"Eine Kartoffeln mit sauce, bitte". vier pounds?, "kein problam, danke"
Goooooooooooooo me.
Oh, also got my German test result.. I did do awful. So awful. Booh.
