Woke this morn and went for a walk in the sunshine to pick up some breakie for Jools & I. Visited an italian place for fresh bread and dips and took them out to the park. The park had a little pool for the kids to play in so we sat by the side watching them all splashing about. It even sounds strange saying, but feels weird sitting with kids when u don't have any. But definately a UK thing.. seems normal here. We enjoyed the sunshine for maybe an hour and I headed back to Schaferkampsallee to get ready for work.
Fun shift.. but loooong. Started at 6pm with nobody coming in til 9ish. The managers son and I sat picking the wax from candle holders for about 2hours.. so was fun. Such a sweet little 7 year old.. but crazy that his dad only see's him 3 times a week and decides to come get drunk in the pub while the little boy has to stand about kicking beer mats around the floor. Was such a nice day too.. blah, blah, i know.. but not nice - the boy should be out playing in the park with his dad.. doing something fun.
Anyyyywaayyy.. ended up being crazily busy, I was rushed off my feet and had to work until 2:30am. So busy that I thought it was 1:30am.. but got some nice tips and clocked up some hours. Headed over to see Julian after my shift and we watched a movie..
