Dienstag 1st Mai 2007 - Happy Bday to mee

What a lovely birthday! i had a nice lie in til 10:30am and then woke to happppyyy birthday with candles and cake. mmm. perfect start to the day :) took peter for a walk and had my first kinder hippo since turning 22.. just a few hours, but i loove my hippos! We decided to spend the day at the Hamburg Zoo which we had wanted to do for ages. We Vespa'd there and arrived around 2pm.. we saw loads of cool animals including a baby elephant.. baby monkey-things, actually, there were loads of babies. Baby season me thinks! But the baby monkeys were soooooo cute.. cuter than annny others, and i love the way they latch onto their mums bellys while they swing around. Awesome. Oh, and even touched an elephant. He more wiped his dirty trunk on me, but technically touched it, so im happy!

In the evening we went back to jools and had a look for somewhere nice to eat.. in the end decided on Greek food. We chilled out for a few hours then headed off to a little Spanish/Portugese place and had some vino and tapas. The tapas were SENSATIONAL.. and the wine was smooth. Good combo, but we had booked the Greek place so had to dash off..

Arrived at 10pm and within 20mins, we were the only ones there. And sadly, by the time we arrived, we were kinda full from Tapas.. and stupidly ordered a starter at the Greek place too.. duuuh. By the time the main meal came, we had about 5 bites then stopped.. couldn't eat a thing more. Yet the waiter brought out a dessert for my birthday.. but charged us for it. Oh, talking about the waiter..

hahaha... Weeeeiiiiirrrrrddddd.

In the beginning to me, it was a good giggle.. but you know the way.. that after a while you start thing.. 'JUST GIVE IT A DAM REST... YES, YOUR MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!' But we very politely smiled and listened to his SCHNACKING! Even when he used my spoon to try our dessert. Strange, strange.. but funny :)
