Sooo, Saturday, gets a little interesting now.. the day started nicely with the sun shining into my room, an early rise at 8:30am then on to meet Marcel for breakfast in the Schanze. We visited a really nice Portuguese cafe and watched all the strange/good-looking/punky/full of it.. people walk by. A little bit of sun peaks through the clouds, and out come the oversized shades.. instant coolness :) The cafe served really tastey toasted sandwiches and of course two for Marcel *and a croissant* After breakie we walked along the the Shanze in the chilly sunshine.. where he told me that Daschunds are a dying breed.. im still upset about it.. i hope you were joking Marcelio! We spent a little too long in conversation - I only had 45minutes to get ready for work, and Bam Bam, if your reading this, I managed! I was 15 minutes early. You dont beleive me, do you...? Work was so much fun. By fun, I mean that I made some healthy tips and it was so busy that 5 hours seemed like 1. Although it was exhausting.. the chats with the drunkan bums are hilarious, they think their sooo cool, but really, theyre just so drunk! I love the punters!
Okaii okaii, now, interesting.. after work, a bunch of us decided to head to the reeperbahn. So, I arrived home, chilled out for an hour, cracked open a bottle of white, snapped on some beats and started beautifying. Britta came round & helped finish the vino so we popped open some bubbly in the kitchen. Will, (my new flatmate) joined us and what seems to have been 3 hours later, found ourselves still sitting around the table gabbing. whoops. 1am. We all headed out to the Reeperbahn to meet some friends and partied. Pretty much everyone from the pub was out, employees and punters, so it was a really good giggle.. buuut.. around 5am, (after a heavy dancing session with Will) we went back to the bar and realised Britta was gone! Vanished! Wait til you hear this.. Agur comes running in, pulling me by the arm telling me shes being taken to hospital, shes outside in the ambulance........................................
I know!!!!!!!! I was absolutely terrified - I got outside and she was lying in a stretcher, being pushed into the back of the ambulance.. After I was told what had happened and why.. I sat down with her, and Britta, I have to say, you were hilarious.. Lying in a stretcher saying, 'heeeey, im fine, wheres my shoe, i need my shoe, i love that shoe, dont take blood from me, why are you taking blood from me.. where are we going?' Funny girl! Anyway, we got to the hospital I think around 6am.. the nurses rolled their eyes, threw a matress on the floor next to another girl in a similar state to Britta and told her to 'sleep it off'. I guess their used to the kids who get too wasted & they want to spend their time with more 'important' patients, but I was really shocked by it.. the girl next to us had brown sick over her sheets with a blood covered napkin and an empty needle packet next to her. Hmm. Nice. So I had my little chair next to her them, keeping my eyes peeled, when the other girl wakes up.. she, was so so so funny, she didnt know where she was/who she was/where she lived.. nothing. but she was giggling about it, & talking perfect German-English! In the end we decided her name would be Peter. Pleased to meet you Peter. Britta woke up a little, so I lay next to her for a bit.. didnt really get to sleep, but managed 40 winks or so. Finally, around 11am, she woke, she was ready to leave, (with a sore head). Poor Britta!
I have to sleep at least an hour before I go to work.. so I must stop writing.. but theres soo much more funny things to tell.. maybe another time.
I wonder what exciting things might happen today/tonight?
